Responsibilities:
- Build & Scale the People Operations Function: As our first People Operations hire, you will lay the foundation for our people strategy, processes, and policies. Design and execute a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the company’s rapid scale-up goals.
- End-to-End Talent Strategy: Lead efforts to attract, hire, and retain top-tier talent. Develop a scalable talent acquisition and onboarding process that supports doubling the team size over the next year.
- Hands-On Execution & Strategic Planning: Act as both a hands-on executor and a strategic thinker, driving key initiatives that directly impact team growth, development, and performance. Balance day-to-day HR tasks with long-term strategic planning.
- Performance Management & Development: Implement world-class performance management frameworks and create programs that drive continuous improvement and accountability. Establish clear goals and development plans for all employees.
- Shape Organizational Culture & Employee Engagement: Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture that aligns with company values and promotes excellence. Develop and execute engagement initiatives to support a cohesive and motivated workforce.
- Data-Driven Insights & Operational Efficiency: Leverage people data to provide actionable insights and make data-driven decisions. Regularly report on key metrics related to employee satisfaction, retention, and performance to inform leadership decisions.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience in High-Growth Startups: Minimum of 7 years of experience in People Operations or HR leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in scaling teams and refining people processes from the ground up.
- Strategic Vision & Execution: Proven ability to both craft and execute a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with company growth objectives. Skilled in balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on execution.
- Talent Management Expertise: Deep expertise in recruiting and retaining top talent, managing performance, and fostering a high-performance culture. Experience with implementing performance frameworks and learning programs that drive growth.
- Executive-Level Collaboration: Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working closely with senior leadership to influence company strategy and culture.
- Remote & International Workforce Experience: Prior experience managing people operations for a fully remote and diverse team, with an understanding of the complexities of a distributed workforce.
- Experience with AI Tools and Agents: Extensive experience in utilizing AI tools and agents to optimize processes, enhance team productivity, and inform strategic decision-making.
